Quranka Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 29, 2026

Quranka (“the app”) is a Quran reader with Somali translation. This policy describes what data the app uses and how.

Summary

Data stored on your device

The app may store locally: cached surah text, downloaded audio files, and app preferences. You can clear this by removing the app.

Network requests (content)

These services receive standard connection data (such as IP address). Quranka does not send your name or email to these providers for that purpose.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

Quranka may display ads through Google AdMob. Google and its partners may collect data to show and measure ads, including device identifiers (e.g. advertising ID), IP address, and ad interaction data.

See Google’s Privacy Policy and How Google uses data from partners.

EAS Insights (Expo): We use EAS Insights to understand basic usage (e.g. app launches, version distribution). We do not use it to collect your name, email, or reading content.

Google (AdMob): Ad-related analytics may apply as described in Google’s policies.

We do not sell your personal information.

Children

The app has no accounts and is suitable for general audiences.

Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date will change when we do.
